Previously, we posted a video where Sling Media demoed their “SlingPlayer for Android” app on both Google Nexus One and a Motorola DROID. If you have pre-ordered HTC EVO 4G, and speculating how would SlingPlayer will look like? Then here it is! SlingBox is showing off its latest stunning video featuring SlingPlayer on EVO 4G Android phones running flawlessly packed with a finger-friendly user interface.
SlingPlayer Android software permits customer to tenuously view and control their home’s cable, satellite channels, media center from their smartphone gadgets like android handsets over 3G or WiFi. With your Android device in your hand you can change the channel and even control the DVR (at home) right from your workplace (office).
The business is announcing that the app has the highest load time of any edition of SlingPlayer Mobile till date. Presently, the developers are working hard on public release for the app to make it ready for summer launch 2010. With the intention of win faith of their patrons, the SlingPlayer Android client must officially support all of Sling’s current SlingBoxes.
No official ETA has been proclaimd on when SlingPlayer for Android will be released to the groups, but rumorologists recommend that SlingPlayer for android platform will be expelled in early next month. The company did not confirmed about how much SlingPlayer App for Android platform will cost, but should be priced at $30, similar to what they had for iPhone, Windows Phone, Symbian and BlackBerry.
