Güvenlik kamerası görüntülerinde, yağmurlu bir havada ağaçların bol olduğu bir alanda koşan bir Çinli’ye yıldırım çarpıyor. Yıldırım çarpması sonucu yere yığılan genç, bir süre sonra ayağa kalkıyor ve tekrar yürümeye başlıyor.

Ancak bir süre sonra gence ikinci defa yıldırım çarpıyor ve genç bir kez daha yere yığılmasına rağmen tekrar ayağa kalkıp yürümeye devam ediyor.

Görüntüyü izleyen uzmanlar, eğer görüntüler gerçekse, bu durumun yedi yüz binde bir ihtimal olduğunu ve bunun görüntülenmesinin neredeyse imkansız olduğunu dile getirdiler.

Yerli halk ise, Sichuan eyaletinde yakalanan hayvanın çok eski bir efsanede anlatılan yaratık olduğuna inanmaya başladı. Efsaneye göre, ormanda insan iken ayıya dönüşen bir yaratık yaşıyor.

Hayvanı bulan köylüler, sesi bir kedininkini andıran esrarengiz canlının bir çeşit uyuz hastalığı yüzünden tüm tüylerini döktüğünü düşünüyor. Garip hayvan ayrıca, canı yanıyormuş veya kendi türünden diğer hayvanlara sesleniyormuş gibi sürekli ses çıkartıyor.

CEHENNEM YARATIĞI MI?

Ortaya atılan iddialara kanmak istemeyen araştırmacılar ise, bulunan garip hayvanın, tüylerini dökmüş olan ve Asya ayı kedisi olarak bilinen Binturong olduğunu öne sürüyor. Ne kedi ne de ayı olan Binturong, güney ve doğu Asya ülkelerinde görülüyor. Hayvana adını veren yerel dil ise onu kullanan herkesin ölmüş olmasından dolayı artık bilinmiyor.

Bulunan garip yaratığı efsanelerle özdeştirenler, ayıya dönen insan iddialarının yan sıra, ormanlarda dolaşarak keçi, tavşan, köpek, tavuk ve benzeri hayvanlarla beslendiğine inanılan Chupacabra yaratığını öne çıkartıyor.

Chupacabra, yerlilerin inanışına göre cehennem çukurlarından çıkıp gelen ve keçi kanı içerek beslenen bir zebaniydi. Çinli bilim insanları, yapılacak DNA testi ile köylülerin ve diğer meraklıların şüphelerini gidermeyi amaçladıklarını belirtti.
